Covered Bridges of Pennsylvania List by county: http://www.dalejtravis.com/cblist/cbpa.htm We're not history buffs nor are we fanatics on
covered bridges - we simply enjoy a nice scenic drive on a beautiful
sunny day. Since we live within Lancaster county, there are 30 covered
bridges to explore within our own backyard. We began our adventures obviously within Lancaster County by researching (on the internet) looking for various information on where all these bridges are located. I found a generous amount of information, but only one web site was structured as a *Tour* with specific directions to get to each covered bridge. No matter what county or bridge you're exploring - if you are unfamiliar with the territory, I would highly recommend having a secondary map to carry with you and/or research your directions accordingly. The information found on the web site may not be as detailed or up to date. Lancaster County Covered Bridge Tours: Enjoy! |

Colemanville Covered Bridge 6/23/07 This bridge is a one lane drive-thru bridge and one of the longest in Lancaster county. So far, I found this one to be my favorite. There is a small paved turn-around area which makes for plenty of room to pull over and enjoy it. This area tends to have more traffic than the other bridges. <click picture for a
